It’s been a minute

March 24, 2022

by Ravi Raman

The last time I wrote on this blog was August 2021, and that wasn’t really a blog post, it was a podcast episode. My last genuine post was all the way back in November of 2020. Wow, time flies! 🚀

In the meantime, I’ve kept busy in a good way. I kicked off a weekly newsletter, Thoughtful Thursday, enrolled and served a few dozen private coaching clients, and ran another cohort of my group coaching program – Transformative Leadership, to name a few work-related happenings.

Life-wise, a lot has also happened. We moved from Colorado to Minnesota. Sold two homes and bought another. Got sick (a few times) and got well. Along the way we had all sorts of little adventures, despite the pandemic restrictions, to keep life interesting.

The is no other point of this short post than to say “Hello, I’m still here!” If you are still following what I have to say, thanks for sticking it out. The creative spark in me is flowing again, in the general direction of my keyboard and this blog. You can expect to read more from me in the months to come.

🙏

The Friendly Universe Hypothesis

The Value Of Sabbaticals In A Workaholic World

This very week 7 years ago was momentous for me. After 13 years at Microsoft I took my first prolonged break from work. It was a true "sabbatical" which according to Google is defined as a sustained period of paid leave for every seven years worked. I was overdue by...

The Truth About Getting More Out Of Less

What does it take to achieve more? For most of my life, I’ve lived with an underlying assumption that to produce more, I must do more. If I wish to make more money, I must work more. If I want to be better at a sport, I must practice more. If I want to improve the...
